Breadmaking Parties + Conversation for Artists

Meet neighbor-artists, bake bread together, and foment ideas for a better creative Boston!

Did you know Boston is making its first-ever cultural plan?
Over 1000 people have already participated in Boston Creates conversations citywide to contribute their ideas. Let's make sure individual artists are part of the discussion too!*

Boston Creates' artist-ethnographer Shaw Pong Liu and artist-hosts Aziza Robinson-Goodnight, Beth Ireland, Mattapan Cultural Arts and the Haley House Cafe host the "What Artists Knead" breadmaking party series.

Every day, for five days, we will be baking and breaking bread in a different neighborhood of Boston, hanging out with artists, and sharing ideas that will be, er, fed to the Boston Creates planning team.

At each party, you will make bread with fellow artists, working with dough that was mixed at a previous party, and preparing loaves to be baked at the following party. (A Chain-of-Boules, if you will!)

Gluten-free options and childcare available with advance registration, please see RSVP links.

  2. I really enjoyed this place and you can definitely find me here for more events. I didn't eat anything when on my recent visit to venues Los Angeles, but those around me had truffle fries, pizza, and wings all seemed to enjoy.
